I believe we all need stories. Stories to hear, stories to tell. STORIES IN SCHOOLS ![]() The Curriculum for Excellence encourages activities which promote confident, happy and ambitious children. Storytelling is an invaluable tool that can promote positive emotional health and well being. I can come to your school and tell stories just for fun, or tie them in with specific topics, festivals and other occasions. I can also devise a programme around emotional literacy. Stories can be an effective way in to issues such as bullying, peer pressure and conflict resolution. Allowing the children to make and tell their own stories has been proven to have enormous benefits for self esteem. Listening to and telling stories has also been proven to greatly improve the learning ability of all children. |
